During the last 20 years, Jay has also acquired extensive hardware and software expertise in information technology specializing in ORACLE Database Administration, UNIX operating system (SUN, HP, IBM & Compaq), Digital Equipment VAX VMS, and Client/Server technology.
Jay Funk has a Bachelor of Science degree, graduating with honors in Computer Science in 1987 from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology.

Jay
Funk has been installing, building, fixing and programming computers for
over twenty years. In 1984, Jay began his career in computers
working as an electronics technician for the Montana College of Mineral
Science and Technology (Montana Tech). There he installed and supported the very first IBM PC based on the Intel 8088
processor running at 4.77 Mhz. and the next generations of IBM XTs and ATs.
